Bow Setup
Now I'm not going to tell you how to tune your bow and I'm not going to rewrite all the guides that have been created previously. But what I am going to do is reference some of the fine work that other people have done to try and explain this process. This is not an endless list too, it's a list of material that we have found useful.
The Archer's Reference
The Archer's Reference was put together in June 1999 as a reference booklet for the members of Balbardie and Grange archery clubs. The content contained within it is taken from the internet, books, magazines, coaches, and other archers, and is the culmination of many years of experience. You could do everything from this one guide but that would be lazy of me.
The Easton Arrow Tuning Guide
The guide is a great reference for all types of bow and introduces you to some easy ways to get a good bow setup.
The Walk Back Tuning Guide
The walk back test is something that I've used to good effect but some people can find it a little confusing, especially when it comes to the expected patterns. This guide by Archery Australia is really straight forward though.
