A team outing to the 2 day Middlesex County Open and we return with both team trophies from the 2 days!
This is the second year we've tried for the Open trophy. In 2015 we were unsuccessful because we were 1 person short of a 4 archer team, disappointing becasue we had shot well. So this year we came back with a bigger raiding party and managed to wrestle the silver plate from their tight grasp. Well done to Ren, Steve, Graeme and Ian
Then on day 2 we managed to retain the glass SCAS trophy, wohoo!
Both days were a bit difficult, the wind was gusty and the temperature was freezing but we battled on. We also entertained ourselves and other archers in the Farnham mobile village. Some people must have wondered what was going on during lunch so much laughter was coming out of our tent. We adopted two strays from Guildford AC too, Richard FitzGerald and Alan Price.
