On May 4th a mixed junior team from Farnham Archers and Alton & Four Marks triumphed at the Chessington Junior Team Tournament. The six archers shot well in blustery tricky conditions and managed to take home the trophy.
After coming second last year the team was delighted to come away with the the win. The Farnham Archers certainly seem to be benefiting from their time working with the Surreys Junior Development squad and all of them have improved and are focused on their archery for the next season.
Since entering the competition in 2018 we have teamed up with Alton, the juniors get on well and often meet at various competitions so it's great to see them win together. This year the team won Gold beating Richmond A, Chessington & Woking combined team, Guildford, CMO and Thomas Wall.
